The Albanian government has signed an agreement that foresees the procurement of the ‘Sputnik V’ vaccine.

Through a normative act passed on April 7^th but published only one day ago in the Official Gazette, the agreement was signed between the company ‘Human Vaccine’ and two Albanian ministers, the Health Minister and the Reconstruction Minister, as well as the Institute of Public Health, for Albania’s supply with the Russian vaccine against COVID-19.

Recently, our country has also started to receive supplies of the Chinese vaccine through a Turkish distributor, which are being used to vaccinate the elderly, police officers and journalists.
