Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama visited the district of Dibra, initially inspecting the progress on the Arbër Highway, an ancient route connecting the country to North Macedonia.
Furthermore, PM Rama met with youth from Burrel asking them to be more politically involved as “thanks to politics the country has launched the vaccination campaign”, as well as “reconstruction of houses that were damaged by the 2019 earthquake”.
Then, PM Rama traveled to Peshkopia where he vowed to make the city of Dibra a “major touristic attraction” as soon as the construction of the Arbër Highway is over.
“We will no longer have Tirana as a capital and an isolated Dibra, but Tirana as the gravity of the economic and social life, while Dibra will become the green pillar of the Albanian metropole”, said Rama.
