One of the candidates of the Democratic Party for the district of Tirana, Grida Duma, said that many citizens demand concrete promises during the electoral meetings.
DP’s candidate mentioned the pledge to raise the minimum wages with citizens coming up to her and asking specifically how much would the raise be and how they’d profit from that.
“I see that Albanians are way more aware and the political contract must be a concrete one. They don’t want to hear generalizations”, said Duma about electoral promises.
During her interview on Ilva Now, she described “a sense of enthusiasm” and that many disappointed Socialists are joining the Democrats.
“I’ve seen many cases where disappointed Socialists have joined us, and this happened without me asking for it. Of course, I see this a great news”, Duma said.
