Euronews Albania’s electoral survey, Political Barometer, unveiled that the difference between the two main political leaders of Albania, Edi Rama and Lulzim Basha, is drawing closer in the district of Durres and will potentially turn the 25 of April into an intense confrontation day.
Asked over their positive opinion on political leaders, namely Rama, Basha and Kryemadhi, citizens answered as follow:
Edi Rama – 51.2%
Lulzim Basha – 51%
Monika Kryemadhi – 20.7%
Compared to previous findings, the positive opinion score for Rama and Kryemadhi declined, while the opposite occurred for Basha.
Responding to the question of who do they prefer for the post of the Prime Minister in the district of Durres, the majority said Rama (46.8%), followed by Basha (42.1%).
The number of citizens who previously responded that they will not vote for any of the leaders dropped from 15% in the first survey to 10.2% in the second one.
Another question posed referred to the citizens’ overall opinion on how things are going in the country, marking a slight increase in their optimism compared to the first survey where 20% (previous survey 18.9%) answered that they see things positively, and 54.7% negatively (previous survey 56.7%).

Methodology
The survey analyzed the opinions and attitudes of 425 voters from urban and rural areas in the district of Durres, under the framework of responses provided from March 27 to March 31.
