During an electoral meeting with young girls and women, PM Edi Rama urged all of them to take their fate into their own hands, on April 25th, while also clarifying his previous statement for a possible collaboration with Basha.
According to him, ‘a woman or girl, having the responsibility she does, can understand very clearly that if they vote for the Democratic Party, Albania won’t be able to make the necessary steps to the top, which requires a lot of work to be accomplished.’
“Whoever comes out and says money, money, money is only looking to manipulate a tired soul, a desperate sad soul, whereas whoever comes out and says work, work, work is looking to mobilize, motivate, he is looking to take them to battle because Albania still needs to continue its battle,”- stated Rama.
Once again, the PM mentioned his invitation for collaboration to Lulzim Basha and the Democratic Party, saying that it is a matter that hasn’t been commented the way he intended it.
Rama clarified that his call for unification is a necessity in order to move forward, and not always be faced with politics that has the nature of a ‘ticking bomb’.
“It is not a call to make a joint government like Sali Berisha did with Meta, by force because he didn’t have enough votes or like the collaboration between parties because of their own interests. It is nothing like that. We don’t need and we won’t need to ask for votes because on April 25th we will get the absolute majority,”- stated the PM, emphasizing that his call is directly linked to the creation a new worthy political atmosphere for Albanians.
