Jashar Kingji, one of the passengers that flew from London to Tirana and then landed at the newly inaugurated airport of Kukes recounts some emotional moments during the flight in an interview for Euronews Albania.
“The journey went very well. The plane made a stop at TIA then landed in Kukes. The flight was very comfortable and moving”, said Kingji.
He also confirmed that the ticket was free of charge.
“We did not pay for the flight, but we applied for it and it got approved. I live in England for 20 years. I will stay for two weeks and then go back to London from Tirana”, said one of the first passengers to land at Albania’s new airport, Kukes International Airport Zayed.
He also said that he will vote on Sunday and emphasized that people should cast their ballot to those who “really work”.
The Kukes International Airport Zayed is the second civil airport in Albania after the one in the capital and has been conceptualized as a low-cost carrier terminal.
