The last batch of vaccines secured by our contract with the ‘Sinovac’ producers in Turkey, has arrived at the ‘Mother Theresa’ airport.

This batch was made up of 208 thousand doses of the Chinese vaccine ‘CoronaVac’, whereas in total, we have now received all 500 thousand doses of the vaccine.

The massive vaccination aims to soften the curve of COVID-19 infections and to keep the local economy and tourism open.

This weekend, Albania secured around 90 thousand doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine.
