The National Network of Youth has put together the survey “National Youth Contract”, which is addressed to young boys and girls across Albania ranging from 14-30 years old.

The “National Youth Contract’ survey aims to bring the demands, expectations and voice of young people, to where they need to be heard, but also to those that make judgments in their name: Politicians and Decision-makers.

Some of the findings included:

70% of youth chose unemployment as their main concern.

70% of youth say that the COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in the sudden unemployment of their family members.

According to 81% of youth across county, the Albanian government hasn’t done anything to reduce the high levels of unemployment amongst the youth in Albania.

Over 60% of young people say that the quality and current state of the education system in Albania is bad or really bad.

Over 53% of young people say that the biggest problem related to their education today is the high level of corruption in Universities.
