The former-PM Sali Berisha during his interview on ‘Ilva Now’ called today’s tragic incident in Elbasan, a dramatic event that according to him, happened in the context of ‘’vote-buying” in the name of the electoral campaign. Based on verified information from trusted sources, Berisha told his version of today’s incident resulting in 1 murdered and 4 injured.
“The electoral group of DP was informed that a car without plates was distributing money and ID cards. After this, they went to the location where this was happening and stopped the car in the middle of the street. They caught the criminal in order to take the money and ID cards and surrounding his car. They notified the police and, in the moment, when the police arrived, the band that was giving out money, started gunfire and the police were there. They started gun fire, which injured 2 members of DP’s electoral staff,” said Berisha.
The former-PM emphasized that the suspected author of the murder was equipped with a licensed weapon and only opened up fire out of self-defense. Berisha blamed the events on PM Edi Rama and the head of SP’s group, Taulant Balla.
“There is a victim and it should be clarified, which gun shot him because it isn’t clear yet. In Edi Rama’s and Taulant Balla’s pronunciations, there is no condolences for the victim because Rama is responsible. They sent him out on a criminal mission,” declared Berisha.
“They were injured in the name of the free vote. Both of them, were injured by the band that was buying votes and the police is hiding everything. Edi Rama cannot find the condolences because they were a part of Taulant Balla’s electoral group, who had sent them out to buy votes,” added the former-PM.
