After their meeting with the State Commissioner for the Elections, Ilirjan Celibashi, the US and EU ambassadors spoke to journalists, where they made an appeal for a peaceful electoral process on April 25th.
Ambassador Luigi Soreca emphasized that the European Union is carefully following the electoral process, taking into consideration the fact that Albania is aspiring to become a part of the European family.
During her word, the US ambassador to Albania, Yuri Kim condemned yesterday’s events in Elbasan, while making appeals with law-enforcement agencies to punish the violators of electoral regulations.
