Leader of PDBNJ and candidate for MP for PD-AN in Tirana, number 11 told journalist Ilva Tare that one of his greatest concerns in this campaign remains the fact that even after all these years, the tentative of vote-buying and selling wasn’t eliminated, a phenomenon, which according to him should’ve been eradicated by the justice system.
Dule called on the PM to give up on his efforts to buy votes and steal these elections while asking the police to fulfill its mission, which is why it exists in the first place, so that citizens don’t need to resort to taking justice into their own hands.
“I am for the citizens having a blind trust in the justice system, but the justice system should also be blind in its judgement. All of us need to exercise self-restraint and the prosecution should solve this case as soon as possible. Rama should give up on his tentative of buying votes, the elections can’t be stolen.
The police should answer to the concerns [of the people] so that it can prevent such phenomena. How is it possible that in the center of Elbasan, there were cars without car plates? We’ll leave it up to the justice system, the police have a duty to fulfill its mission.
When the structures destined to protect public safety don’t fulfill their mission, citizens can’t be expected to remain so coldblooded,” said Dule.
