DP’s candidate, Oriela Nebiaj said that she sees a great support from citizens for the April 25th elections.
“The goal was to represent the program of DP, but I can’t avoid it, there are definitely many citizens that I meet that have a preference for me, as a candidate,” said Nebiaj.
Nebiaj said on Ilva Now how she became a part of the lists of the Democratic Party, saying that nothing was coincidental.
“I have spoken on this earlier as well on my previous public appearances; my involvement in DP started earlier. It was also my constant interest and after I received the proposal from Basha to be a part of his team. Without a doubt it was my moment, after working in silence, the moment came. This is a decision to be an undivided part of the active political life. This is my activism that won’t vary or change anymore,” she said.
DP’s candidate said that she is expecting to win 20 mandates in Tirana, not including the mandates of the Socialist Movement for Integration.
“DP in Tirana will get 20 mandates, without SMI. My focus is on young people, but I will represent them all,” she said.
