A group of textile industry employees in various companies around Tirana have become part of the vaccination process. According to the Ministry of Health, the priority are the elderly and those with underlying health conditions.

“Today, we have started with the textile industry, but with our lists we will continue in our concentrated vaccination centers, so that we don’t intervene with the work process and offer protection to our employees at the same time,” said the minister of health.

According to the ministry, in the days to come, vaccination will begin in other cities as well.

Until now, a total of 383 thousand vaccines against COVID-19 have been conducted, out of which 296 thousand were people over 60.

The Ministry of Health affirms that the vaccination of medical staff, teaching personnel, police and employees of the media has concluded.

Meanwhile, the vaccination of citizens 60+ is continuing, as well as for hotel industry staff.
