North Macedonia has rolled out vaccinations for lawmakers in the Assembly, considered to be on a priority list.
The 120 MPs will decide voluntarily whether they want to receive the COVID-19 shot, in this case, the Russian-made jab Sputnik V.
The Speaker of the Assembly Talat Xhaferi hopes that the vaccination process will normalize the situation, with many MPs absent during the plenary session after contracting the coronavirus.
Health Minister, Venko Filipce, urged citizens to get vaccinated as so far, the turnout has been considerably low with only 150.000 citizens showing up to get the vaccine dose.
