As the voting process continues in the district of Vlora, another conflict was recorded in the ballot station close to the Ismail Qemali school, where representatives of DP have demanded the removal of a person from the premises of the polling station.

According to representatives of DP, a young woman was exhibiting suspicious behavior, as she was holding a list in her hands, while standing inside the premises of the voting center.

The head of the local CEC has reported that the young woman was simply there to vote.

Meanwhile, in Libonik, in the municipality of Maliq, a debate between commissioners of the Socialist and Democratic parties has become a cause for conflict in one of the polling stations. The voting process has recommenced, as a large number of people has been observed, risking to violate the anti-COVID measures. The police are currently monitoring the situation.

In addition, the municipality of Devoll in Trestenik has started the voting process after a 2-hour delay because of issues with the operator verifying citizens IDs. At the moment, the process is continuing manually.

In the municipality of Maliq in Pirg, problems were reported with two barometric identification devices.

In the Vashtemi municipality, a commissioner of DP reported a verbal conflict with one of the voters, who wanted to vote for his entire family. The process was suspended for 50 minutes.

Voting has recommenced in Lekbibaj, Tropoja. The process was suspended for several hours because of an incident between commissioners of DP and SP.

“According to DP the suspension came as a result of vote-buying and selling, whereas the commissioners of SP claim that the conflict started from people, who had come from the outside,” reports Euronews Albania’s journalist Jurgen Zela.
