With only one hour remaining to the closing of vote centers, the head of the opposition Democratic Party Lulzim Basha called on those who have not cast their ballot yet to do so.
“We still have the opportunity to vote for one more hour. If you haven’t cast your vote yet, take this opportunity and vote. Go out of your homes, vote, for your children, families, the future of Albania,” Basha said.
He thanked those who have already cast their ballot and called on them to urge the rest to do the same.
“Thank you to those who voted. Go and knock on the door of someone who hasn’t already voted, ask them to exercise their duty towards their kids and our shared future,” the opposition leader added.
Basha said today was a wonderful day for Albania’s democracy and repeated his calls to turn out to vote.
“It’s a wonderful day for Albania’s democracy. It’s the day when all together we will build a home to the hope and future for all Albanians. It’s time to take our destiny into our hands. Go out and vote massively,” Basha concluded.
