After receiving a batch of 4,680 Pfizer doses, Kosovo is set to resume the vaccine rollout on medical personnel across the country.
On Tuesday, the Ministry of Health received the first batch out of a total of 95,000 jabs allocated by the EU for Kosovo.
According to a recommendation from the country’s task groups, the doses will serve to inoculate medical personnel who could not receive the vaccine during the first phase due to health reasons.
The epidemiological situation is improving as incidence rates have been on a steady decline in the last couple of days.
Yesterday, authorities recorded 75 new cases and 4 COVID-19 related deaths.
