PM of Kosovo, Albin Kurti accompanied by the deputy minister of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Dukagjin Pupovci received the ambassador of Finland to Kosovo, Pia Stjernvall in a meeting, earlier today.
According to the government’s communication for the press, Albin Kurti esteemed the friendly relations between Kosovo and Finland during the meeting. He continued by notifying the ambassador regarding the inoculation process in Kosovo as well as the efforts that his administration has been making, in order to secure the necessary vaccines, and in addition, he expressed his interest to find out if the opportunity is there, for possible support from Finland’s side with the anti-COVID vaccines that Kosovo is in dire need for.
“In the meeting, discussions revolved around the forms and ways of collaboration in the fields of technology and information, social development, and economic progress, with a focus in the industry of wood processing. The PM and ambassador put an emphasis on the need for new investments, and they discussed about the potential of collaboration between Finnish investors and entrepreneurs from Kosovo and Finland. PM Kurti and ambassador Stjernvall also spoke on the importance of the improvement of the level of the education system in the country as well as the chance for all-inclusivity within the education system. In addition, the high officials also looked at the possibilities of an exchange of educational practices in Finland as well as the strengthening of the role of the teaching personality in the teaching process,” reported KosovaPress.
