The Special Prosecution Office (SPO) is seeking a 2-year prison sentence for former General Prosecutor Adriatik Llalla, as well as barring him from holding a public office for 5 years.
Sources confirm that the prosecution will present its arguments in the upcoming court session.
A few weeks ago, the Special Court Against Corruption and Organized Crime revoked the request for an abbreviated trial.
Adriatik Llalla has been accused of refusing to declare his assets and efforts to hide his wealth twice.
More specifically, Llalla is accused of failing to provide accurate information over the expenses incurred from the education of his children abroad, for which he also received a fine by the High Inspectorate of the Declaration and Control of Assets and Conflict of Interests.
