Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has declared that one of the great powers will soon request the withdrawal of KFOR and UNMIK from Kosovo, reported local media KosovaPress.
Reportedly, Vucic told Serbian media that if this were to happen it would be “a catastrophe”.
The Serbian president also declared that he will discuss with NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg during a meeting in Brussels on Monday “in order to avoid coming to that point”.
“We have information that one of the great powers will soon make an official request for the withdrawal of KFOR and UNMIK. I will try and talk to Stoltenberg in order to not let that happen”, said Vucic, adding that he cannot reveal to which country he is referring to but asserted that the “information came from official sources”.
