Memli Krasniqi officially announced that he will enter the race that will find the new leader of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK).
According to Krasniqi, PDK needs to “turn to a new chapter”, and bring a concrete political program for the citizens of Kosovo.
“I am totally convinced that together we will build the profile and team we need, in order to give Kosovo and its citizens a proper political address, something they really need. I am more than determined to liberate the potential of democracy, meritocracy, society, and state institutions”, Krasniqi said.
Furthermore, he recalled that he has been a member of the party for 17 years.
“I am very proud about crossing into this path. I know that walking in the footsteps of our two leaders, Hashim Thaçi and Kadri Veseli, is not easy. On the opposite, it bears a great responsibility”, he stated.
Krasniqi is the first candidate to officially announce his bid for the party’s leadership.
