The head of DP’s National Council, Bujar Nishani called this party’s National Assembly an absurd theater that should be forgotten as soon as possible.
“DP came to this Assembly more divided than ever before, and with a chaotic structure, left up to the mercy of fate for years in years in a row. DP came in this Assembly, without a strong identity column like a conservative party should, without an ideology, without a representative team, with a great loss of trust after the severe electoral failure,” wrote Nishani on his personal Facebook account.
Nishani also had a lot to say about the Chair of the Democratic Party, because as he said the National Assembly gathered because of Basha’s own worries and troubles, rather than addressing the political issues of DP and the democrats.
“The only changes to the statute were against our own party, against its very members. The transformation of the National Council from a high decision-making institution to a segregation of advisory departments highly damages our party,” stated former president, Nishani.
While ranking what were, according to him, the reasons behind Basha’s failure in the lead of DP, Nishani said that the undeserved privileges that he won and continues to mishandle, were what destroyed and degraded the entire party, they destroyed its values, interests and the individual lives of democratic families nationwide.
“This Assembly had a lot of pending work but didn’t deal with any! The only rhetoric and statutory act of this Assembly was the guarantee of Lul Basha’s ‘repression’ over the Democratic Party. L.Basha decided to show his ‘teeth’ after 8 years, the power-hungry ‘teeth’, to the membership, the adherents, the activists and voters of the Democratic Party,” concluded Nishani.
