Fatalities related to the COVID-19 virus are back in Albania since the last case happening more than a month ago, on June 26th.
Based on the most recent report published by the Ministry of Health, the victim is a 74-year-old man from Kurbin, who hadn’t been vaccinated.
Since the onset of the pandemic, a total of 2.457 citizens lost their lives after complications caused by COVID-19.
In the past 24 hours, 30 results came back positive, out of a total of 3.316 tests conducted nationwide.
Currently, there’s a total of 321 actively infected patients in our country, whilst authorities report that they’ve noticed a slight rise in hospital admissions with 17 patients currently receiving treatment in Tirana’s Infective Hospital.
