Kosovo continues to report a high daily death toll due to COVID-attributed complications.

Only in the past 24 hours, the National Public Health Institute has reported a total of 23 citizens losing their lives to COVID.

Meanwhile, Kosovo counts a total of 2 795 deaths since the onset of the pandemic.

The number of positive cases in the last 24 hours has seen a slight decline, as 424 cases were confirmed out of a total 8 270 tests conducted nationwide.

The country’s active case count has now toped 17 thousand.

Around 357 000 citizens have received both doses of the anti-COVID vaccine in Kosovo, and well over 1 million doses have been administered.
