Albanian President Ilir Meta has just decreed PM Edi Rama’s third cabinet, one day after getting the green light from the General Prosecution Office that none of the appointed ministers was under an ongoing investigation.
The President has now paved the way for the parliament’s voting on every minister in the cabinet, as well as the prime minister.
The Socialist Party secured a third consecutive mandate after the parliamentary polls held on April 25, securing 74 seats in parliament, while the new government will need the approval of 71 lawmakers.
Composition of the Council of Ministers:

3) Olta Xhaçka – Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs;

5) Bledar Çuçi – Minister of Interior Affairs;
6) Delina Ibrahimaj– Minister of the Economy and Finances;
7) Belinda Balluku – Minister of Infrastructure and Energy;
8) Evis Kushi – Minister of Education, Sports and Youth;
9) Ulsi Manja – Minister of Justice;
10) Elva Margariti – Minister of Culture
11) Frida Krifca – Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development;
12) Ogerta Manastirliu – Minister of Health and Social Protection;
