Euronews Albania’s Barometer discovered that only 23.3% of citizens are satisfied with their family’s economic status.
Those who responded “very good” comprised only 1.1% of participants, while 22.2% said “somewhat good”.
Those who saw their household finances as negative accounted for 33% of respondents.
Positive evaluations, as per the political affiliation of the respondent, came mainly from the Socialist Party’s electorate, who were predominantly more optimistic as 38.3% of them responded “very good” or “good”.
Those who voted for the opposition were the least satisfied with only 8.8% giving a positive answer, meanwhile, 14.7% were neutral.
The survey, based on 1,000 face-to-face interviews from rural and urban areas in Albania, was developed 10-28 August.
Asked on the overall state of the economy, 48.3% saw it as “bad”, while only 15.6% as “good”.
