49% of Albanians see unemployment as a matter that should be taken by the government as a national priority, revealed Euronews Albania’s survey.
Respondents from the age of 35-44, hence the age range that makes up for the professionals in the country, were those who were most likely to respond that unemployment should be a priority in the next four years.
The ones who were the most concerned were the 25-34 and 45-54 age groups.
According to the International Monetary Fund (IMF), unemployment during the first semester of 2021 was at 11.7%.
The survey, based on 1,000 face-to-face interviews from rural and urban areas in Albania, was developed 10-28 August.
The economy, unemployment, corruption, and emigration topped the list of things that mainly concern the Albanian people, according to the survey.
