COVID-19 claimed the lives of 6 citizens in Albania, while 959 tested positive.
Rising infection figures have also led to an upward trend in hospitals, the health ministry reported, with 215 patients in medical care.
Active cases climbed to 5,477 in Tirana and over 12,900 across the country.
Albania ranks fourth among Western Balkan countries in terms of people fully vaccinated, despite making it possible to all citizens older than 18 years of age to get the jab.
Overall, 145,845 have recovered from the virus from the beginning of the pandemic.
According to a tally kept by national health authorities, the death count from COVID-19 in Albania has reached 2,569.
