An emergency meeting of the Security Council that was called by President Aleksandar Vucic has begun in Serbia, following the difficult situation prompted by yesterday’s decision regarding ‘license plate reciprocity’.
The meeting is being led by president Vucic and attended by PM Brnabic as well as ministers Stefanovic, Vulin, and the chief of the General Unit of the Serbian Military.
In yesterday’s speech, Vucic said that it is one of the most difficult days for Serbians in Kosovo and Metohija, adding that the situation is “very serious”.
Vucic also warned that Serbia will be taking all the necessary economic and political measures.
He called on the international community to try to reason with Prishtina, so that Serbia doesn’t need to take any measures.
At the end of the meeting, there will be a press conference, where the anticipated decisions forewarned by Vucic will be made known.
