Around 200 farmers marched through Prishtina on their tractors and stopped in front of the Ministry of Agriculture to reject a new policy on how is wheat subsidized.

The farmers called on the ministry to postpone the new criteria for next year.

Another request was signing a memorandum of cooperation between the Ministry of Agriculture and the Federation of Kosovo Farmers.

Also, farmers hope that agricultural minister Faton Paci invites them to a dialogue.

They warned that if their requests are not met by September 27, there will be more radical protests that will last until their requests are fulfilled.
