8 citizens lost their lives to the coronavirus in our country in the last 24 hours.

In addition, the Ministry of Health has reported that a total of 5005 tests were conducted nationwide, which confirmed that another 768 citizens had contracted the virus in the past 24 hours.

Tirana remains the municipality with the most active cases and fatalities, followed by Fier, Shkoder, Durres and Vlore.

There’s currently a total of 12 257 active patients in Albania, 217 of whom are receiving hospitalized treatment, and 23 are exhibiting severe symptoms.
