5 citizens lost their lives due to COVID in the past 24 hours in Kosovo, and 77 others were confirmed to have contracted the virus.

One fatality was registered in each of the following communes: Prishtina, Prizren, Mitrovica, Kline and Skenderaj.

The commune with the most daily cases remains Prishtina (22), whereas 8 others were registered in Podujeva and Skenderaj and another 7, in Peja.

New cases have mostly been in the age group 30-39.

Since the outbreak of the pandemic in Kosovo, there have been 2 936 fatalities.

At the moment, there are over 41 000 active cases nationwide, whereas well over 503 thousand citizens have received both doses.
