Minister of Finances, Hekuran Murati, signed a decree outlining eligibility criteria and conditions, as a part of the third aid package for the pandemic.
The measure seeks to provide some financial relief for those who lost a family member due to the virus.
Families of healthcare staff who died at the forefront of the pandemic battle will have special support.
Citizens of Kosovo must fill in an online application. The deadline is November 30.
For COVID-19 deaths after October 1, financial aid will be provided only if the deceased family member had received both vaccine doses.
