21-year-old Aldi Rama, who shot and killed Lezha PD’s officer, Saimir Hoxha, has lost his life this Wednesday morning at the Tirana’s University Hospital of Trauma.
After a difficult 5-hour manhunt, the police were finally able to find a severely wounded Aldi Rama, in a swamp of the Vain lagoon, in Lezha.
He was taken to the hospital of Lezha immediately, before being transferred to Tirana’s University Hospital, where he would ultimately lose his life.
From a seated position in his car, when officer Hoxha had stopped to verify his ID during a drug raid, Rama shot in the direction of the 45-year-old, who was caught by surprise and died shortly after.
