As ballots are now being counted across Kosovo, some of the countries largest cities have already kicked off celebrations, although an official result has yet to be announced.

In front of PDK’s headquarters in Mitrovica, party supporters have started celebrating the proclaimed victory of its candidate Bedri Hamza. So far, PDK is on the lead.

In Gjilan, supporters from both Vetevendosje and LDK have also taken to the street to celebrate.

Representatives from Vetevendosje, as well as supporters, have gathered at the party’s headquarters to kick off celebrations. At the same time, dozens of LDK supporters were also seen celebrating.

From the ballots counted so far, Vetevendosje is leading by a small margin against PDK.
