On Wednesday, US Ambassador Yuri Kim met with the heads of the Socialist and Democratic Party’s parliamentary groups, respectively Taulant Balla and Alfred Rushaj.
On Twitter, Ambassador Kim reiterated the importance of mutual respect among parties.

The meeting comes just shortly ahead of a joint session between the Legislation Council and the Parliamentary Committee on Legal Affairs, set to discuss constitutional amendments on vetting politicians, as well as the electoral and territorial reform.
