Ilva Tare was bestowed with the “Career Award”, a prize conferred by the Albanian Journalists Union.
Tare’s parents received the award on her behalf in a ceremony attended also by the Speaker of the Assembly Lindita Nikolla.
In a video message, Ilva Tare thanked the union and colleagues for attributing the prestigious price. In a social media post, Tare said that she dedicates the award to her parents for the sacrifices endured during her career in the media.

Ilva Tare has a long career in the Albanian media with a contribution that spans 25 years as a journalist, anchor and host of several famous shows.
Tare was Euronews Albania’s Head of News for around two years and is currently in the United States, a decision she took to be closer and dedicate more time to her family.
