Political parties in Kosovo have officially wrapped up their 5-day electoral campaign ahead of the country’s second round of voting when citizens of several communes will head to the polls to vote for their new mayors.

21 out of the total 38 communes will be heading to runoffs tomorrow to vote for either one of the two candidates that received the most votes during the first voting round.

The party racing in the majority of communes during these runoffs is the Self-Determination Movement (LVV), whose candidates will run for mayor in 12 communes.

The following communes will be heading to runoffs: Prishtina, Prizreni, Gjakova, Gjilani, Podujeva, Kamenica, Drenasi, Dragashi, Istogu, Kaçaniku, Klina, Fushe-Kosova, Obiliqi, Rahoveci, Shtimja, Vitia, Vushtrria, Malisheva, Juniku, Mamusha and Kllokoti.

The first voting round was held on October 17.
