In tonight’s plenum, North Macedonia’s government declared that they will maintain a price freeze on basic basket products.
In order to prevent further spikes in their prices, the government has put a temporary ban on the price increase for these products, which will continue to be sold at the existing price until January 31, 2022.
The regulation will include break, sugar, flour, sunflower oil, milk, meat, and cheese.
Prices for these products will remain unchanged until the end of January 2022.
