40 remote villages in Korca continue to suffer power outages for the last 5 days.
Even though the electricity supplier OSHEE has said that work is underway on the ground, the situation is very problematic in the administrative divisions in the Municipality of Maliq, where according to reports, there are around 35 villages that have no electricity for the last 4 days, in two administrative division in Gore and Moglice.
Meanwhile, in the divisions of Dardha and Trebinje in the Municipality of Pogradec, there are 5 other villages that suffer power outages.
All these consequences were a result of the snow storms which took place 5 days ago, which brought down dozens of transmission towers and broke several other conductors.
When it comes to roads and traffic, officials say that all national axes are open and passable, whereas work is underway on opening the remote areas.
