Serbian citizens living in Kosovo, should be able to exercise their right to vote. This was declared by the high EU representative for foreign policies and security, Josep Borrell, while commenting on the current situation with Serbia’s referendum, which aims to instate several constitutional changes this upcoming Sunday.

According to Borrell, in the past, the collection of votes has taken place through the facilitation of OSCE.

However, PM Kurti has made his stance clear and emphasized that this referendum won’t be allowed in Kosovo. In any case, Serbs that possess dual citizenship will be allowed to mail in their ballot or vote at the interconnecting office in Prishtina.

On January 16, Serbia will hold a referendum on the constitutional changes pertaining to the justice sector.
