The Albanian Football Federation (FSHF) is officially under investigation. Tirana’s District Prosecution has opened a case following a police referral that was filed a month ago in regards to a number of criminal violations.

The probe comes at a time when FSHF is in the process of appointing a new chair for the federation.

Tirana’s City Hall, a shareholder in the federation, will request an international investigation on the current chair, Armando Duka.

Duka has asked to be reelected for a sixth term as chair of FSHSH. Sports commentators, Dritan Shakohoxha is the other candidate in line for the leading position in the Federation.
