5 citizens have lost their lives due to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, whereas 1.615 new cases were reported.

New cases were confirmed as a result of 5.621 tests, which also confirmed 2.564 recoveries. Since the beginning of the pandemic, a total of 230.193 recoveries were reported.

At the moment, there’s a total of 22.214 active COVID infections.

125 citizens have been hospitalized, 7 of whom are exhibiting severe forms of the virus.

The ministry of health has appealed to citizens to get vaccinated as soon as possible and comply with COVID measures.

All citizens over the age of 16 can get vaccinated in a health center or vaccination clinic closest to them. Vaccination is also open to all children over the age of 12, who suffer from auto-immune diseases and have a doctor’s recommendation.
