Recently, the government has undertaken an initiative known as the National Consultation Platform or the national survey, which consists of a questionnaire that aims to gather citizens’ thoughts and feelings on several matters of significance.
This was one of the main topics discussed during tonight’s face-off between young activists and political figures, that was centered around Albania’s future in terms of diplomacy.
Invited to represent the ruling Socialist government, PM Edi Rama’s personal advisor Odeta Barallushii, said that the reason behind this national survey is to gather data on citizens’ general perception on some of the most important issues currently facing our country.
“It is an extensive consultation session that involves our citizens and their thoughts on key matters,’ – said Barballushi on RinON.
The representative of the opposition, however, viewed things differently.
DP’s foreign secretary, Gentian Gaba said that this National Consultation Platform is pure propaganda, used by the government to seem as if they care about the views and opinions of the general public.
“This National Consultation, along with Open Balkan and projects of the sort, are nothing but propaganda projects that lay the groundwork for Rama’s true intentions,” – said Gaba.
