An overwhelming majority of voters in Shkoder said they want to see Sali Berisha chair the Democratic Party (34.9%), compared to a mere 12.8% who were in favor of Lulzim Basha.
4 in 5 (80%) voters in Shkoder wouldn’t vote for the Democratic Party if Lulzim Basha was party leader.
3 in 5 (59.3%) voters in Shkoder wouldn’t vote for the Democratic Party if Sali Berisha was party leader.
These Barometer findings showed that almost 70% of citizens in Shkoder, who voted for the Democratic Party in the most recent elections, would vote for it again if Sali Berisha were to be the party’s leader.
1 in 4 (23.2%) of Democrats in Shkoder, would vote for DP again if Lulzim Basha continues to be the party’s leader.
Results were retrieved from a poll conducted by Euronews Albania’s Barometer in collaboration with MRB and Data Centrum in the municipality of Shkoder, from February 12-18, 2022, through 1.000 in-person interviews.
