198 Ukrainians are reported to have died in the past 3 days of fighting since the Russian invasion, said minister of health Viktor Lyaschko.
1115 citizens have remained injured, amongst them 33 children.
The mayor of Kiev, Vitali Klitschko, said that 35 people were injured from last night’s bombings in Kiev. Amongst the injured, he said that there were 2 children as well.
It is yet unknown if he was referring to civilians or exclusively to military personnel.
In addition, he said that there is currently not a considerable number of Russian militia in Kiev, but added that Russian rebel groups were active all across the city.
This morning, images of an apartment block that had been bombed close to the Kiev airport have been circulating in the media. It’s still unknown, whether or not amongst the injured, there were residents of this apartment building, which was almost completely destroyed.
