Ukraine President Volodymir Zelensky said on Saturday he spoke over the phone with Albanian PM Edi Rama.
Zelensky said the two leaders discussed the ‘fight against the Russian invaders’ as well as ‘joint work within UN’.
He took it to Twitter to express his appreciation for the country’s support in these moments of hardship.
Had a phone conversation with 🇦🇱 Prime Minister @ediramaal. Spoke about the fight against Russian invaders. Discussed joint work within 🇺🇳. We appreciate the practical help and support of Albania in this difficult time. We are doing everything to end the war. #StopRussia

Albania was among the countries to condemn the Russian aggression in Ukraine, siding with Western countries in sanctioning Moscow.
