Klodian Muco, an expert in the economy, maintained that the war did not affect oil prices, but market maneuvers did.
According to him, the market is playing around with the prices, as it is still early to feel the repercussions of the war.

“Fuel stocks are in the customs-free zone. Deposits in the customs-free zone are an external part of the Albanian fiscal system. Despite the fact that they may have been filled 3 months ahead, they receive the price of the customs clearance day, which may be today and onwards”, the message read.
Journalist Bardh Sejdarasi asserted that the anonymous person is correct, except for the part on security reserves.
“The part regarding the security reserves has no connection with the free economic area because the latter is tax-free, so you cannot set up a reserve deposit because you paid those taxes at the time you issued it and declared it as a reserve,” he said.
