After Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic proclaimed victory at the Sunday polls, the Serbian minority residing in Kosovo’s North in a celebration that reportedly involved firing bullets in the air.
Mitrovica police found bullet casings of various firearms as well as boxes with pyrotechnic devices, reported local media KosovaPress.
Kosovo Police launched an investigation into causing ‘general public endangerment’.
“Kosovo Police dispersed a crowd and seized several bullet casings of various fire weapons and boxes with pyrotechnic devices. The Prosecution has opened a case that will be investigated by the respective authorities”, a police statement read.
