The measures include freezing the assets and economic resources of several Russian individuals and companies operating in Montenegro, as well as a ban on Russian state-controlled media broadcasters.
The US Ambassador to Podgorica, Judy Rising Reinke, commended the government’s decision in a status shared on Twitter.
Bravo! Important to see #FriendPartnerAlly 🇲🇪 join EU sanctions, which are designed to undercut 🇷🇺’s ability to fund its inhumane, unjustified, and unprovoked war on the people of 🇺🇦. #UnitedWithUkraine #WeAreNATO” https://t.co/EbZCmq4nP8
